Attorneys Online, Inc. would like to applaud Seattle plaintiff attorney Michael Withey on receiving the American Bar Association (ABA) Pursuit of Justice award. The award recognizes judges and attorneys who “have shown outstanding merit and who excel in providing justice for all.”

Mike will receive the award at a reception on October 13, 2011 at the Olympic/Fairmont Hotel in downtown Seattle. The reception will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you are in town, stop by and congratulate him!

While attending the Southern Trial Lawyers Association’s 2011 Mardi Gras Conference in New Orleans in early March, Attorneys Online, Inc. CEO Cheney Winslow had the opportunity to meet South Carolina personal injury attorney Randy Hood, an STLA member.

Cheney and Randy got a chance to talk at the STLA conference, and as a result, Randy and his firm, McGowan, Hood & Felder, LLC, have joined Attorneys Online, Inc.’s successful roster of elite clientele.

Randy Hood is a litigator at McGowan, Hood & Felder, LLC, which has three offices in South Carolina.

Attorneys Online, Inc. CEO Cheney Winslow and consultant Allison Snowden attended the Texas State Bar’s Advanced Family Law Drafting Course at the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston on December 9^th and 10^th.

Cheney and Allison were able to network with family law attorneys from all over Texas.  It was a great opportunity to discuss attorney website design and other forms of attorney advertising.

“The weather was beautiful in Houston, even if the meeting rooms were freezing,” said Cheney.  “The event was delightful and we met some old friends, including Former and Assigned State District Court Judge, John Coselli , as well as some new attorneys including Paul Bailiff of Bailiff & Herbig.”  Cheney was extremely glad to meet Paul since he mentioned The Woodlands area of Houston where John Friend, the founder of her favorite form of Yoga, Anusara, is based.
