ABA may have slowed us down, but attorney web designs are speeding up
August 11th, 2008 by AmandaAs has become the norm, the American Bar Association Annual Expo was painfully slow. Since the ABA did not seem to do enough to encourage people to come into the exhibit hall, this will probably be our last year as law firm marketing exhibitors. It was surprising that there was not coffee in the mornings or food in the hall during the cocktail party. However, we were still able to make a few great contacts with attorneys interested in creating attorney website designs. But we did not let the slow convention slow us down in our tour of New York City. Since Allison had never been to New York before, she had quite a list of things for us to do. We made it to Rockefeller Center, Times Square, a Broadway show (Wicked), Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Lombardi’s pizzeria, Radio City Music Hall, FAO Schwarz, and we still have…

Walk, Don’t Ride in Philly – It saves a lot of aggravation
July 14th, 2008 by AmandaAs usual, we had a great time at the AAJ convention in Philadelphia. Our law firm marketing consultants were a hit, as was our booth. Of the dozen or so cab rides we took, we had problems with 10. First thing to know – there is a flat rate of $28.50 (plus a 50 cent gas surcharge) from the Philadelphia airport to downtown. The drivers may try and charge you $35+ and when you ask why, they explain that it includes their tip. But, if you…

Bringing Lawyer Advertising Strategies to the AAJ Convention in Philadelphia
July 9th, 2008 by Amanda It is once again time to head to the American Association for Justice’s Annual Convention – this year in Philadelphia. This is always one of our favorite conventions, not just because we get to show of our attorney advertising knowledge, but also because this group has some of the most fun events. Last year, I attended a lunch that had Barack, Hillary, Joe, John, and Bill as speakers. Not to mention the amazing places for their receptions – museums, theaters, and more. If you have the opportunity to attend this convention, it really is one that should not be missed, both for attorney, as well as exhibitors. And, if you are an attorney that will be attending, please stop by our booth in the exhibit hall (booth number 315) to discuss your current law firm marketing strategies. We may have a few things that you have not tried…
