Attorneys Online Asks for Your Help to Save Rescued Horse Sanctuary
December 12th, 2011 by BeckieFor many abused, disabled and abandoned horses, Villa Chardonnay is their last chance. Located south of Los Angeles, the horse rescue center and sanctuary is home to 70 animals, 43 of which are rescued horses. The horses come to Villa Chardonnay from families that can no longer afford to care for them, and some are rescued from abusive or neglectful situations. In their current facility, Villa Chardonnay regularly has to turn away desperately ill and neglected horses for lack of space and funding. Owners are currently in negotiations to purchase a new facility that would provide shelter and space for over 250 abandoned, abused horses. But they need help. They are attempting to raise $500,000 to acquire the facility and care for the horses. When the horses arrive at Villa Chardonnay, many of them are in fragile health.
