As has become the norm, the American Bar Association Annual Expo was painfully slow.  Since the ABA did not seem to do enough to encourage people to come into the exhibit hall, this will probably be our last year as law firm marketing exhibitors.  It was surprising that there was not coffee in the mornings or food in the hall during the cocktail party.  However, we were still able to make a few great contacts with attorneys interested in creating attorney website designs.

But we did not let the slow convention slow us down in our tour of New York City.  Since Allison had never been to New York before, she had quite a list of things for us to do.  We made it to Rockefeller Center, Times Square, a Broadway show (Wicked), Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Lombardi’s pizzeria, Radio City Music Hall, FAO Schwarz, and we still have a few more highlights.  Plus, we hit every food vendor we could find – pretzels, hot dogs, knishes, chicken and rice, warm nuts, and more.  We are heading to Washington DC today, so it will be quite a tourist whirlwind!
