We had a lot of fun last week at the Arkansas Trial Lawyers conference last week in Eureka Springs.  In addition to enlightening the attorneys about our law firm marketing strategies, we had plenty of time to drive in the hilly circles around the town and take in a few of the sites of Eureka Springs.  Next time we attend, and we are planning on it, I want to make sure to have time for the Ghost Tour at the Crescent Hotel.

One of the main reasons that I wanted to go to Eureka Springs is because of the gorgeous bed and breakfasts that I had heard about.  Since Cheney and Pam had never stayed at one before, I had told them for weeks about how wonderful they are and how I prefer them to hotels.  Well, when we booked the Eureka Springs bed and breakfast, I was assuming (which is always a bad thing) that we could expect a little Southern hospitality, cozy rooms, and good food.  Singleton Houston definitely had none of those things and I would strongly discourage a second thought to booking there.  However, next year, we would really like to stay at the Rock Cottages in Eureka Springs.  Unfortunately for us, they did not have availability this past week, but next year, we’re there!
