Beware of Scam Emails

Lately there has been a rash of email forwards from clients. These emails claim to have been sent from Yahoo or Google about the client’s lawyer internet marketing account. These emails cause angst because they sound very urgent and official. I have called Google & Yahoo numerous times and they reassure me that these are all scams. We have your accounts set up under Master Accounts, so they should NEVER send something directly to your email address. Google and Yahoo do not have access to any of our clients’ email addresses. Never answer one of these emails – always report them to us immediately. Google and Yahoo are doing all they can to track down the people responsible for sending these emails out, but we also want to assure you that your accounts are safe.

Your Attorney Internet Marketing with us is very secure. We keep your information confidential and we are always glad to research anything you get that might sound suspicious. Along with the great convenience and opportunities provided by the internet, unfortunately, comes the possibility for the criminal element out there to capitalize as well. The best way to deal with it is to be aware and just forward anything dubious to us and we will make sure everything is okay.

Lawyer advertising consultants will be back to Arkansas next year!

We had a lot of fun last week at the Arkansas Trial Lawyers conference last week in Eureka Springs.  In addition to enlightening the attorneys about our law firm marketing strategies, we had plenty of time to drive in the hilly circles around the town and take in a few of the sites of Eureka Springs.  Next time we attend, and we are planning on it, I want to make sure to have time for the Ghost Tour at the Crescent Hotel.

One of the main reasons that I wanted to go to Eureka Springs is because of the gorgeous bed and breakfasts that I had heard about.  Since Cheney and Pam had never stayed at one before, I had told them for weeks about how wonderful they are and how I prefer them to hotels.  Well, when we booked the Eureka Springs bed and breakfast, I was assuming (which is always a bad thing) that we could expect a little Southern hospitality, cozy rooms, and good food.  Singleton Houston definitely had none of those things and I would strongly discourage a second thought to booking there.  However, next year, we would really like to stay at the Rock Cottages in Eureka Springs.  Unfortunately for us, they did not have availability this past week, but next year, we’re there!

ER Legal Launches new Child Safety Website

The Philadelphia personal injury attorneys at Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck, P.C. have just launched their child safety website, which emphasizes ways that parents and guardians can keep their children safe.  By highlighting potential dangers, the law firm hopes to keep more children out of harm’s way.  In addition to the website, the law firm also has a child safety BLOG to warn parents of potential new problems and to give advice.  When approaching the attorney web design, we wanted to make sure that the branding of the website matched the law firm’s other websites; however, the focus for this one needed to be more child-oriented.  It is a great expansion to ER Legal’s niche areas.
